The sun is setting for the Horns Rev II Project for 2008 and contractors and sub-contractors are closing down for the winter period ready to re-commence in March 2008.

2008 has been a succes. J/B Sea Jack completed all 92 foundations and the living quaters, Matador 3 and M/V Sea Power completed the installation of the transformer station, and Pontra Maris, Sovereign and assisting tugs completed the cable laying between the foundations as planned. Also Team Oman completed its work scope with the shore connection cable just to mention some of the vessels operating on Horns Rev II.

In port is now only M/V Oil Express and Ham601 installing the final flexpipes and dumping the last filter and cover stones.
